New Delivery Drone Trials

Singularity University Ventures startup Matternet has been approved to provide an autonomous drone system to deliver blood and other small items between medical centers in Switzerland.
Mercedes-Benz, drone developer Matternet, and Swiss online marketplace Siroop, have initiated the joint project 'Vans and Drones'. The concept is to fly a drone to the roof of a waiting van near the delivery location, which then delivers the package.
