The Kitty Hawk Flyer is a new personal flying drone that is easy to fly and doesn't require a pilot's license. The VTOL (Vertical takeoff and landing) vehicle has 10 independent electric motors and can fly 20MPH for up to twenty minutes. The Flyer is designed for recreational use over water, but it is easy to envision future versions hovering over traffic on a short commute.
