4K 3D Resin Printer

March 30, 2024

At their core, 3D resin printers are machines that use light to transform liquid resin into solid objects. This process, known as photopolymerization, involves directing UV light onto the resin, which hardens it layer by layer until the desired object is fully formed. Compared to their filament-based counterparts, resin printers are renowned for their ability to capture intricate details, making them ideal for applications requiring high precision such as jewelry, dental work, and model making.

The HALOT-PLAY from Creality is a budget friendly 4K 3D resin printer with an 8.9 inch LCD. The build volume is 7.55 x 4.72 x 7.87 inches (192*120*200mm). It features 4k resolution, stable Z-axis to reduce layer lines, and a sticky sand-blasted CNC build plate.
