Electric Humanoid Robot
April 20, 2024
Renowned for its advanced robots such as BigDog, Atlas, and Spot, Boston Dynamics has made significant strides in robotic design and functionality, pushing the boundaries of what robots can do. A far cry from when BigDog was spewing gas from its rear end, the latest version of Atlas the humanoid robot is all-electric. The movements of the Atlas robot are smooth, and the 360 degree rotation of the neck and joints are mind blowing and a bit unnerving. Atlas can walk bipedally, mimicking human gait and balance. While the original Atlas was best known for its parkour capabilities, this electric version is designed to test and find applications in real working environments like automotive factories.
