Flying Sports Car

The Switchblade Flying Sports Car by Samson Sky is a groundbreaking vehicle that seamlessly blends the convenience of a car with the capabilities of an aircraft. This innovative vehicle is designed to transform long road trips into shorter, more efficient journeys, making it a unique addition to the future of transportation.

The Switchblade is a three-wheel, street-legal vehicle that you can drive from your garage to a nearby local airport. Once there, the wings swing out and the tail extends in under 3 minutes. This transformation allows you to fly your registered aircraft directly to your destination. The vehicle is classified as an Experimental Category aircraft, requiring owners to build 51% of the vehicle. Samson Sky simplifies this process with their Builder Assist Program, making it easier for owners to complete their portion of the build.

This flying car can fly at speeds up to 200 mph and reach altitudes of 13,000 feet. On the ground, it offers high performance with all-wheel disk brakes and a climate-controlled cabin. The vehicle is powered by a 3-cylinder, 1.0-liter engine with 190 maximum horsepower, allowing it to drive at a maximum speed of 125 mph. The hybrid electric system uses 91 octane automobile gasoline.

The Switchblade is designed to be practical for everyday use. The wings and tail are protected when the vehicle is in driving mode, allowing you to confidently use it for daily travel. Whether you need to fly to save time or drive to see things up close, the Switchblade offers the flexibility to choose how you want to travel.
