General Purpose Humanoid Robot

August 28, 2023

Apollo is a general purpose robot that has two arms and walks on two legs like a human. Apollo, designed by Apptronik, stands at 5'8" and weighs approximately 160 lbs. This humanoid robot can operate for up to fours hours per hot swappable battery pack, and carry a payload up to 55lbs. It has a modular design that allows for mounting the upper half of this robot to a platform, or it can be configured with legs for walking. Apollo robot has LEDS located in the head and chest that allow for simple communication. Apollo can be used for carrying items, unloading, palletizing, and many other uses. The associated software suite allows for point-and-click control of humanoid robot Apollo. In the future, humanoid robots will become more popular because the human form is very efficient in a wide variety of tasks, and they are more relatable to humans.
