General Purpose Humanoid Robot

The Fourier GR-1 is being marketed as a general purpose humanoid robot that walks on two legs and can carry its own weight. Its height is 5 feet 5 inches (165 cm) and it weighs 121 ls (55 kg). The Fourier GR-1 has 44 full-body degrees of freedom and is equipped with 40 FSA joints, with a maximum module peak torque of 230nm. It can sit, stand, jump and walk up to 3 mph (5km/h). It has a LCD screen for a face. This general purpose humanoid robot is being mass produced for applications such as healthcare, elderly care, industrial, and more. The first units will most likely go to research labs for further development.
