The Snapmaker Ray is a 20W and 40W is a standalone high-power laser machine with air assist. It features a 15.5 x 23.5 inch (400mm x 600mm) work area and it is equipped with industrial-grade linear rails to reduce wobble. The Air assist helps keep the laser lens clean, removes fumes, and prevents charring. A Class 1 Safety Enclosure and Air Purifier are available for Snapmaker Ray to reduce laser hazards. Its maximum cutting speed is 20mm/s for the 40W version and 10mm/s for the 20W model. The Snapmaker Ray can engrave many types of materials and and cut basswood, pinewood, plywood, beech, walnut, bamboo, leather, fabric, canvas, corrugated paper, cardboard, plastic, stainless steel (0.1mm) and more.
