Mini AI Vision Robot Car

September 3, 2024

The miniAuto AI Vision Robot Car from HiWonder is an innovative and versatile entry-level robot car designed for enthusiasts and educators. This robot car is built on the popular Arduino UNO R3 platform, making it accessible and easy to program for both beginners and experienced developers. The miniAuto is fully compatible with the Arduino UNO R3 controller, allowing users to leverage the extensive Arduino ecosystem for programming, development, and support.

Equipped with an ESP32-S3 vision module, the miniAuto supports various vision-based applications such as line following, face recognition, and color tracking. This module enables the robot car to navigate complex environments and perform tasks autonomously. With a 4-channel line follower and the vision module, the miniAuto can perform autonomous driving tasks such as line following, crossroad recognition, and traffic light detection. These features demonstrate the robot car’s ability to navigate and make decisions independently.

The miniAuto features Mecanum wheels, which provide 360-degree omnidirectional movement. This capability allows the robot car to move in any direction, making it highly maneuverable and adaptable to different terrains. The miniAuto can be expanded with a mechanical gripper, enabling it to perform tasks such as object transportation and vision-guided transport. This robot car is equipped with an ultrasonic sensor that measures distance and provides real-time feedback with colored light. This sensor enhances the robot’s ability to detect and avoid obstacles.

The miniAuto includes a built-in Bluetooth 4.0 module, allowing users to control the robot car via a mobile app. The miniAuto AI Vision Robot Car is suitable for a wide range of applications, including educational projects, research and development, and for hobbyist projects.
