Portable CNC Robot

A portable and autonomous CNC robot for makers called the Cubiio X tackles projects larger than its size. Four steel cord timing belts with varying lengths provide a configurable workspace of up to 4 ft by 4 ft or 2 ft by 6 ft up to a 1.2 inch depth. Cubiio X can cut through a variety of materials such as wood, plastic, metal, and with carbide bits can machine aluminum, copper, and brass. It can also etch with the optional 1.3W laser head. This small, portable CNC machine weighs only 8 lbs.
