The Breakthrough Junior Challenge 2024 is an annual competition designed to inspire creative thinking among students ages 13 to 18. the challenge encourages inclusivity and diversity by reaching out to students from every corner of the globe, ensuring that opportunities in science and technology are accessible to all. This global inclusiveness is crucial for fostering a diverse scientific community that can tackle global issues from multiple perspectives.

Participants are tasked with creating short videos to explain complex life science, physics, or mathematics subjects in ways that are engaging, informative, and easy to understand. The challenge is not just about flaunting knowledge but about demonstrating the ability to communicate science ideas in a manner that resonates with people from all walks of life.
