SLA 3D Printer

November 25, 2023

Stereolithography (SLA) is a 3D printing technology that uses a laser to cure photopolymer resin layer by layer, creating a three-dimensional object. SLA is known for its high precision and smooth surface finish, making it ideal for printing detailed models and prototypes. Once the printing is complete, the object is carefully removed from the resin tank. Excess resin is cleaned off, and the object may undergo additional curing under UV light to ensure its strength.

The Starfield 3D is a large-scale SLA 3D printer that combines print and post-curing in one machine. This 3D printer has a large build volume of 13.7 x 7.8 x 13.7 inches (350x200x350mm). Features include: permanent leveling, auto-resin-feeding, air purifier, and auto heating resin vat.
