Can Technology Alleviate a Water Crisis?
April 17, 2017
A major breakthrough for harvesting water from the air at low humidity, using only solar power, has been constructed at MIT using a special material, a metal-organic framework, or MOF, produced at the University of California, Berkeley.
The nanoscience technology may one day provide personalized water--where a solar-powered water harvester at home meets the needs of an entire household.
It could also provide free water for people in arid, remote areas
