Autonomous Trucks

 

It may look a little like a sports car but Vera is part of a new autonomous transport system from Volvo Trucks. The system is designed to operate in a controlled short-range environment like ports or factories to transport large amounts of goods from one area to another.

The vehicle is all-electric for a large reduction in CO2 emissions and noise levels. Each truck carrier is connected to the cloud and monitored from a control center.
