Space Tourism

The New Shepard program from Blue Origin plans to send tourists on a thrill ride to space and back.

The 530 cubic feet, 6 seater crew capsule that sits on top of a booster rocket, has large windows on the sides to give first-time astronauts (after one day of training), a panoramic view of Earth as they float weightless in space for a few breathtaking minutes.

Both the space capsule and booster rocket are reusable. The booster rocket lands vertically using boosters. The space capsule uses parachutes and thusters for a "smooth" landing. You can sign-up to be one of the first to receive information on tickets and pricing at the Blue Origin website.
