15 – Pets in the future might genetically altered or clones. Businesses are already cloning dogs for owners that have the means and desire to do so. In the future, ‘natural’ pets might be a rarity. Robot pets, with artificial intelligence, may also become mainstream, if scientists can ever simulate this level of adorability (highly unlikely).
