Self-Lacing Basketball Shoes

Engadget reports on the new Nike Adapt BB self-lacing basketball shoes that are controlled by a smart phone app.

I will spare you the over-used reference to the famous self-lacing shoes from that old future movie, but I must say that when I saw these shoes for the first time, I yelled "Great Scott!".

This technology would be useful for people that have difficulty reaching their feet, like the elderly or injured, if the price was lower.
